Presenter: Deborah DeNicola Jan 13th:  Leaving the Ego Behind: Writing From Your Dreams In this workshop we will engage active imagination through a meditation and enter a dream image from a point of view other than the ego’s. You will learn to play visually and verbally with your dream, write from the right side of your brain, create a poem, prose piece, memoir or stand-up act and laugh, cry, but further understand your own psyche. Jan 20th: Entering the Magical Dreamscape In this class we will learn how to lead a dreamer back into the dream scenes, find the places of greatest tension and greatest comfort, emphasize the poles of the dream, encourage the dreamer to hold the images in the body, allow for autonomous imagery to emerge, and watch the meaning of the dream unravel by questions posed to the dreamer and the dreamer’s reaction. Jan 27th: Seven Crucial Points in Dream Tending In this class we will define seven key terms and how to apply them to a dream. We will discuss Dream Recall, Fragments, Identification and Mimicry, Projection, Archetypes, Day Residue, Amplification and Resistance. Everyone will re-enter a dream and see how these issues are significant.    ______________________________    About the Presenter: Deborah DeNicola is a poet/author of six books. Her most recent memoir, The Future That Brought Her Here; Memoir of a Call to Awaken demonstrates the technique for demystifying dreams she learned as a trainee of Robert Bosnak, the Dutch Jungian founder of Embodied Dreaming. Deborah edited Orpheus & Company; Contemporary poems on Greek Mythology. She has worked with dreams for twenty years.
