We have arrived once again at the turn of a season. The Harvest Full Moon is on Saturday, September 21 and the actual Fall Equinox is on Monday, September 23 when the sun enters Libra.
    These ‘tween times are opportunities to connect with the magical realms that exist around and within us if we pay attention and put intention into our lives. I have observed that the equinoxes and solstices are times of transition and power.
    Obviously, ancient civilizations believed the same as many of them have built their temples and pyramids in alignment with the solstices and equinoxes. I have visited many of such sites, with some of you, in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, Peru, England and the Four Corners region here in the States. The solstices and the equinoxes mark the four doors of the Medicine Wheel, which are connected with a time of day, a time of year and a time of life. These are astrological changes of the signs. The sun moves into Aries at the Vernal Equinox which is Spring, the time of day is when the sun rises around 6 a.m. and the time of life is infancy. The sun moves into Cancer at the Summer Solstice which is Summer, the time of day is when the sun is the hottest which is noon and the time of life is adolescence. The Sun moves into Libra at the Fall Equinox which is Autumn, the time of day is when the sun sets around 6 p.m. and the time of life is adulthood. The Sun moves into Capricorn at the Winter Solstice which is obviously Winter, the time of day is when the sun is not visible which is around 12 midnight and the time of life is maturity or the time of the elders.
    When we become more conscious of these cycles of life and connect with the celestial realm above us and Mother Earth’s changes beneath our feet and around us, the more spiritually connected we are within our selves as well as with others. I feel that bringing these cycles to consciousness, somehow we walk on the planet with more awareness and connection instead of aimlessly in a frenzy. Perhaps one could compare this thought to taking the time to ‘smell the roses.”
    The connection with each other is important. The connection with the Angelic Realm and the unseen energies around us is important. I would like to request a strong presence of the Angelic Realm at this turning of the season, during our Fall Equinox. Last year, the month of September was disastrous. Many people this year will be re-visiting the mourning of the loss of their loved ones. The assistance of our heavenly helpers may soothe, comfort and ease the intensity of sadness and emotions that may arise. Remember to ask your personal angels to assist you as they may only intervene and help if they are asked. Let us all be mindful at this time of those who have experienced a loss.
