The Magic of Believing
Whatever we ardently desire, vividly imagine and
actively work toward creating will be ours.
If you build it they/it will come. Whatever you believe will be so. If you can
imagine it, you can create it. These are all statements of truth that you
may have heard over your years. I am here now reminding you of these truths.
So what is it that you want in your life, that you currently
feel is missing? Is it a deeper connection with and support from friends and
family? Looking for a deeper connection with God and the Goddess? Wishing for
your dream home? Want to know your guides and angels? Wishing for your
soulmate/life partner to start your family? Needing more financial security and
abundance in your life? Desiring a new car? Wanting to take a long European
vacation? You can have all these things in your life and more, if you believe
you can and if you can imagine these things in your life. Perhaps its time to
re-read the children’s book, “The Little Engine that Could!”
The power of our imagination is extraordinarily magical.
We often forget that we have this tool. The imagination is usually alive and
well during our childhood and adolescence. In order to use the imagination once
again, we simply need to give ourselves permission to awaken our childlike
qualities!
Imagining and fantasizing in a healthy way creates the
foundation for allowing what you wish to manifest. For example, when you decide
that you are going to get up to go to the kitchen, some part of you actually
visualizes getting up and going into the kitchen. The action then follows
the thought form. The thought form must be there first. Therefore, to create the
things we wish for in our lives, we must first allow ourselves to visualize them
before we can achieve them. If you want to learn more about the power of
visualization, Shakti Gawain’s book, “Creative Visualization”, is a
simple guide to creatively visualizing what you want to manifest in your life.
Whenever we consciously create using visualization and the
imagination, I recommend that we maintain integrity in respecting the free will
of others. It is important that we do not use our power of imagination to
manipulate others as this breaks a Universal Law and creates karma. Therefore, I
recommend that you consciously connect with a prayer in your heart and pray that
what you are creating may only come to pass if it is according to the Divine
Will for the Highest Good of All.
An attitude of gratitude is an important ingredient in
creating joy, peace, love and abundance in our lives. The energy of genuine
gratitude for what already blesses us in our lives will attract more of what we
are grateful for. There is also the practice of prayerful gratitude. This is one
of my favorite practices. The practice is to send out love and blessings to all
the people, places, things, and experiences in my life. When I am done, I feel
so much love and blessings for having done so, and I am pretty sure that those
whom I have sent love and blessings to, feel it as well! Some indigenous
cultures give thanks in advance for something that they are praying for as if it
is already in their lives. So, you may want to try that prayer on for size as
well!
The power of prayer in creating our lives plays an important
role. Our planet, our environment, our political leaders and our friends and
family, all need our prayers. Let us all remember to pray daily to create a
better life for all of us on this magnificent planet. After all, this life here
is a gift. Let’s not waste this gift of life and let us all live it to the
fullest. If there is something you want to do, then go for it! Don’t wait
another day . . . .because domani never comes! (That song, Domani just went
through my head. I guess my Italian upbringing is showing!) Tomorrow never
comes! N0! Do it today!
Many Blessings on
your creations!
