Summer Reading List

        It’s that time of year again to sit shore side or pool side with a tall glass of iced tea, lots of sun screen and a good book. Or perhaps a good book on your summer vacation for those long waits at airports or lounging in the evening in the hotel room, instead of TV! Regardless of where or when, summer always seems to be the time for me to sit with a good book in memory of those school-days-summer reading list. The only difference now is that you don’t have to write a book report for the teacher! Here are some suggestions of new and old favorites:

    I recently made a pilgrimage to Glastonbury, Chalice Well and the Tor, so Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley, is my personal choice to re-read (for the third time!) This book captures you! I become enveloped into the story of King Arthur and the Grail when I read this book. $15.00 Quality Paper Back
    Starhawk’s book, The Fifth Sacred Thing, is also a spiritual novel which magically draws you into another time and place. It’s a philosophical fantasy about life in the not-so-distant future. $13.95 Quality Paper Back
