Into The Garden

    I love the Garden! The Crystal Garden and our beautiful garden, which adjoins this wonderful, store and center. In The Crystal Garden, we are weeding out some of our older merchandise by providing you with a great SALE on selected brand new books, CDs, cassettes (some great music!), candles, aromatherapy oil blends, Fridge Magnets, little wind chimes, some candles, divination decks and more. Merchandise discounts range from 20 to 75% off! So if you want to do some gentle weeding in The Crystal Garden come take advantage of these excellent discounts!
    As these items are weeded out, we are adding new merchandise. Clearing out the old always makes room for the new! Come discover the new book titles, music, candles, cupid angel statues, garden markers, greeting cards and more.
    The garden adjoining the shop is looking beautiful. We’ve added new beds and will continue to do so each Sunday. We’ve placed some bulbs into the beds throughout the garden. I look forward to seeing their little green heads peek out and bring us beautiful flowers! I also would like to give thanks to my gardening friends who work and play regularly in the garden. In particular, thank you to Vernon Timmons, Kathy Kearney, Christine Coddington and of course, Al Lembo (who I affectionately refer to as ‘Papa Bear’!) Please feel free to join us any Sunday. It’s good for the body, mind and spirit!
    We have emptied one of the compost bins to bring that delicious composted soil into the circle garden. We now have three compost bins going. I want to take this opportunity to give gratitude to those of you who are bringing your compost to these community bins! Doesn’t it feel great to return that organic matter back to Mother Earth? If you are interested in composting in our community bins, I encourage you to give me a call or email me. I get really jazzed when someone joins in on this small yet simple way to contribute to saving the Planet!
    Mother Mary now graces our garden in her own little ‘grotto’ area. Her area is placed in such a way that you really have to walk ‘into the garden’ to find Her. Feel free to spend time before Her in prayer, meditation, to connect with the Divine Feminine or to just ‘be’ in a sacred magical place. Although we have planted some flowering plants before Her, a friend of The Crystal Garden has suggested that we place a vase before her so we can bring cut roses to Her.
    As we approach the Vernal Equinox, it is an ideal time to return to the Garden. Use the energy of this equinox cycle to clear out the old and plant new seeds. Whether we are weeding and planting new seeds in the earth or our spirits, the spring is a good time to do so.
