Anchoring Love & Light

    As we enter into the Year 2000 we are faced once again with another new beginning. This is the time of year that we traditionally are drawn to establish New Year's Resolutions. Now is the time to set our Sacred Intent. This year I encourage us all to bring a new depth to our resolutions. Let us go beyond the old type of list that may include very valid changes we want to make in our lives. Better yet, perhaps this is the year to make two lists, one that is focused on the material world and one that is spiritually focused.
    Setting Sacred Intent is a practice I first connected with while preparing to bring tour groups to Sacred Sites. The intent for various Sacred Journeys, Workshops Medicine Wheels and Crystal Grids has always been: 'to bring Love, Light and Well-Being for Personal and Planetary Transformation.' I realize now that wherever we are, we are standing in a sacred place Although I have the calling to travel to Sacred Sites to anchor Love and Light, it has come to my attention that every day, wherever I go and whatever I do, it is good to intend Love and Light in every moment. After all, wherever you go, there you are. So how does one maintain the focus to establish that and still continue to operate in the daily world? I believe it is during the pivotal moments like soltisces, equinoxes, new moons, birthdays and the New Year that we are provided with the cosmic opportunity to establish our goals and our sacred intent in a stronger way. Then as we walk forward in our life we have established our Sacred Intent. The only way for our planet to move into higher consciousness is one person at a time. Planetary peace starts with the peace within each and every one of us individually.
    I would like to see myself practicing compassion and understanding for all. I would like to integrate patience and love in all my interactions. I would like to naturally forgive others when they do hurtful things and remember that they know not what they do. I would like to see our own little circles live in peace and harmony and then the world will naturally follow!
