Think Much? . . or How Loud Do You Think?
I
t is important that we
examine ourselves and our belief systems to determine which are valid and which are not
valid. This can be done by reviewing which of our beliefs are engrained in us by our
parents, role models, society and the media. This could be challenging and take some work.
Often, it is not easy to see these engrained beliefs, because, basically, it is all we
know and how we have been raised.
Denise Linn's book, Sacred Legacy, is an excellent source for gaining
clarity about our belief systems and ancestral connections. We carry within us all of our
ancestors who have come before us. Their lives and beliefs are engrained in our blood, our
cells and our bones. The memory is something we carry forward with us. There are also many
beliefs that have been engrained that have been brought into our lives specifically for
the purpose of helping us remember our abilities and talents to assist this planet in the
evolution to higher consciousness.
For example, I was brought up believing in telepathic communication. It
was natural and normal. Yet if another wasn't brought up to believe or practice this then
they wouldn't necessarily believe it possible to communicate without words. Im sure
youve been on the telephone with someone or been sitting with someone and you reply
with a certain remark. Your friend exclaims, "I was just thinking that!" or
"How did you know that?!" Sometimes, Ill be thinking of a particular
subject and the person Im with suddenly begins talking about that very thing!
Jokingly, Ive said, "Well, you better not think so loud!" Yet all joking
aside, regardless of whether we think loudly or softly, our thoughts are very powerful.
As we evolve, we will begin to telepathically communicate more
frequently and will be able to hear other's thoughts. This may be challenging when we
forget and our thoughts are not coming from our heart. Can you imagine someone hearing all
the thoughts you have? Wow ! Talk about having to pay attention to our thoughts!
Now is the time to pay attention to our thoughts and remember to stay
focused in our hearts as we live our daily lives. This includes every interaction - from
the grocery store to the spiritual gathering! I would like to recommend that we all start
practicing paying attention to what we are thinking!
The truth always resides within our heart. If one looks within one's
heart and connects with Spirit, then and only then can we know the truth.
