A tall tropical tree up to 20m high with large, tender, fragrant flowers, which can be pink, mauve or yellow. The yellow flowers are considered best for the extraction of essential oil. The name, meaning "flower of flowers," descries the sweet, yellow blooms, which produce the essential oil. The oil varies greatly due to climatic and botanical differences.

Therapeutic Properties:	Aphrodesiac, anti-depressant, anti-infectious, antiseborrheic, antiseptic, euphoric, hypotensive, nervine, regulator, sedative (nervous), stimulant (circulatory), tonic.
Uses:	High blood pressure, hypenea (abnormally fast breathing), tachycardia, palpitations, Depression, frigidity, impotence, insomnia, nervous tension and stress-related disorders, aphrodisiac, anxiety, panic, fear, anger, rage, low self-confidence.
Blends Well with:	Lemon, eucalyptus, clove, orange, ginger, sandalwood, neroli, chamomile, clary sage, rose, grapefruit. rosewood, jasmine, vetiver, bergamot and rose.
Cautions: Non toxic, non-irritant, use in moderation - too much of the heady scent can cause nausea or headaches. Avoid if low blood pressure or history of apnea. External use only for topical application or diffusion in Jet Diffusor. Never use undiluted. Avoid contact with eyes.
