Although it
grows to the height of 12 and sometimes 20 feet, its stem is feeble and
requires support. Its leaves are opposite, pinnate and dark green, the
leaflets are in three pairs, with an odd one and are pointed. The fragrant
flowers bloom from June to October. An Essential oil is produced by steam
distillation of the absolute. |

Analgesic (mild),

Uses: |
Jasmine is
good for cold and catarrhous constitutions. It is also used for hard,
contracted limbs and problems with the nervous and reproductive systems.

Blends Well with: |
Rose, sandalwood, clary sage,
patchouli, ylang ylang, ginger, bay and all citrus oils. |

Non-toxic,
non-irritant, generally non-sensitizing (an allergic reaction has been
known to occur in some individuals |
